1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using ScholarRank at https://app.scholarrank.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our platform.

2. Account Registration

You must be at least 13 years of age to create an account.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
You must provide accurate and complete information during registration.
One person may not maintain more than one account.

3. Use of the Platform

You agree NOT to:

Use the platform for any unlawful purpose
Attempt to circumvent proctoring mechanisms
Share test questions or answers outside of authorized contexts
Upload malicious content or attempt to compromise platform security
Create accounts for fraudulent purposes
Resell or redistribute access to the platform

4. Subscriptions & Payments

Paid subscriptions (Pro and Enterprise) are billed monthly or annually through Razorpay. All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) unless stated otherwise.

Subscription charges are non-refundable after the first 7 days.
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
We reserve the right to adjust pricing with 30 days' notice.
Failure to pay may result in downgrade to the Free plan.

5. Intellectual Property

All platform content, code, design, and branding are the property of Ashna AI. Test content created by educators remains their intellectual property. Students retain ownership of their submitted answers.

6. Proctoring

ScholarRank provides browser-based proctoring features (fullscreen enforcement, tab-switch detection, auto-submission). By taking a proctored test, students consent to these monitoring measures. We do not capture webcam or microphone data.

7. Limitation of Liability

ScholarRank is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting support.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify registered users via email for significant changes. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
